Calendar and exporting to Outlook

How the calendar fills itself in from your deals, and how to get your dates into Outlook.

Pipento's calendar fills itself in. Every date you set on a deal appears on it automatically, so you don't need to copy anything across.

What you'll see

The calendar shows a month at a time, and each type of date has its own colour. Follow-ups are purple, close dates are green and last contacted dates are blue. On the Team plan, tasks appear in orange too. The key at the top right shows which is which.

Use the arrows to move between months and Today to jump back. Click any event to open the deal it belongs to.

Today's actions

The panel on the right shows anything overdue, what's due today and what's coming up. It's the quickest way to start the day. If you want more space for the month view, click Hide panel.

Getting dates into Outlook

Each event in the panel has an Outlook button, which adds that one event to your Outlook calendar. Use it for the follow-ups you want blocked out in your diary.

Export to Outlook at the top of the screen exports your events as a calendar file. As well as Outlook, the same file can be opened in Apple Calendar and Google Calendar.

Pipento doesn't sync with Outlook automatically. If you change a date in Pipento after exporting, export it again or add the updated event, so your diary stays right.

My pipeline or the team's

On the Team plan, the Viewing switch shows either your own dates or the whole team's, and Jump to rep shows one person's calendar. It's a simple way to see who's busy before you hand over a lead.
