Introduction to Pipento
What Pipento is for, how it's laid out, and how to get your first deals in.
Pipento is sales pipeline software for founders and sales leaders who sell for a living. It's built to answer three questions every morning: who you need to follow up with today, whether you're on track, and what's slipping through the net.
Think of it as the dumb phone of sales tools. It does the few things you need every day, does them well, and leaves out everything that pulls you away from selling. We don't add AI for the sake of it, and everything in Pipento is decided and built by people who sell for a living.
How Pipento is laid out
Everything sits in the menu on the left. Tracker is where you'll spend most of your time. It shows every deal grouped by stage, with its value over 12 months, when you last spoke and when you're next following up. Click any deal to open it.

A deal holds the contact's details, the stage, who owns it, the next action and the follow-up date. The Activity tab is where you log emails, calls, meetings, proposals, LinkedIn messages and notes, so the whole history of the deal sits in one place. You can also send one of the ready-written email templates from here.

Pulse is your Monday morning briefing. It shows a year-end forecast, how many deals are active, a chart of momentum over recent weeks, and the deals that need attention because they've gone quiet for longer than your average sales cycle.

Calendar shows every follow-up and close date you've set, and you can send any of them to Outlook. Contacts builds itself from your deals. Dashboard and Reports show your won revenue, win rate, sales cycle and pipeline by stage, and a report can be downloaded as a PDF.
The one habit that makes it work
Give every deal a next action and a follow-up date. That's what puts it on your calendar, in your follow-ups and on Pulse when it starts to slip. Pipento can't remind you about a deal that has no follow-up date, so it's worth setting one every time you speak to someone.
Your first 30 minutes
Start in Tracker. If your deals already live in a spreadsheet, bring them in with the CSV import, or add them one at a time with New Deal. For each deal, set the stage, the value and a follow-up date. Then open Pulse to see where things stand.
From then on, the routine is simple. Each morning you check today's follow-ups, log what happened, and set the next date.
What's on the Team plan
Team gives everyone who sells one shared pipeline for one flat monthly price, and you can switch between your own pipeline and the team's. It also adds CRM, where won deals become accounts with recurring revenue, renewal dates, health and regular check-ins, and Tasks for to-dos and recurring check-ins. You can show your own logo and company name inside the software too.
