Contacts

How Contacts builds itself from your deals, and how to search, filter and add people.

Contacts is your address book. You don't have to build it by hand, because Pipento creates it from the deals you add.

Contacts from your deals

When you save a deal with a contact's name, company, email or phone, that person appears in Contacts and stays linked to the deal. You'll see Linked on the contact panel inside the deal when that's the case.

If some of your deals aren't in Contacts yet, they're listed under Add from your deals at the top of the screen. Click one to add it.

Finding people

Use the search box to find someone by name or company. The All Industries menu filters the list to one industry, which is handy when you're planning outreach to a particular type of client.

Each card shows the person's name, company, industry, how many deals they're linked to, and their email and phone. The Email and Call buttons let you get in touch straight from the card.

Adding and editing contacts

Click New Contact to add someone who isn't attached to a deal yet. If you already keep contacts in a spreadsheet, Import CSV brings them in. There's more on that in importing and exporting.

Each card has a tick box. Tick the contacts you want, then delete them, or on the Team plan assign them to someone.
