Email templates

How to use the ready-written emails on each deal, and how to log what you've sent.

Most sales emails are variations of the same few messages. Pipento includes ready-written emails for the ones you send most, so you're not starting from a blank page every time.

Where to find them

Open a deal and go to the Activity tab. Alongside the activity types you'll see Templates. Click it to choose an email.

There are templates for first outreach, follow-ups, proposals, meeting requests and check-ins, which covers most of a deal from first contact to after the sale.

Sending an email

Pick the template that fits and it opens in your own email app. Read it through, make it sound like you, and send it from there. The email goes from your own mailbox, so replies come straight back to you.

You can also click Email on the deal or on a contact card to start a blank email to that person.

Logging it

Once you've sent it, log it on the deal so the history is complete. Choose Email, write a line about what you sent and press Post. Then update Last contacted and set the next follow-up date, so the deal doesn't drift. There's more on this in follow-ups and smart follow-up suggestions.

The activity log isn't only for emails. You can log calls, meetings, proposals, LinkedIn messages, other messages and notes too. The Me button and the contact's name let you choose whose side an entry is from, so a reply from the client reads as theirs. Every entry can be edited or deleted later.
